Alternatively, you can wrap a strip of paper tightly around your knuckle, mark the location, and then measure the length of the strip to the mark (in mm).

The fingers of the left and right hand are usually different thicknesses, so you should measure exactly the finger on which you want to wear the ring.

Your ring size changes throughout the day. Fingers are usually thicker in the evening than in the morning.

Ring sizes also change throughout your life, so avoid relying on a size measured long ago.

Fingers are usually thicker in summer than in winter. The higher the temperature, the thicker the fingers.
